With the presidential campaign in full swing, no one is getting talked about more than Donald Trump. As one who doesn’t have a strong affiliation with either major party and who has studied the collateral damage from our health ecosystem, it’s striking how shallow the analysis is on the Trump phenomena. It misses what I believe is the primary underlying driver of Trump’s rise — the ripple effects from a wildly under-performing health system .
